The Yarn
The Mura is knit in worsted weight yarn. The grey blanket square is knit with Brava Worsted an acrylic yarn in Dove Heather.
This blanket square uses less than one skein of yarn. It’s a great idea for using up yarn scraps in different colors. Colorful squares would make a gorgeous blanket!

How to Make the Mura Knit Blanket Square
This easy knit blanket square works up quickly in worsted weight yarn.
Materials
- 65 yd / 60 yd Brava Worsted, a #4 medium worsted weight yarn (100% acrylic, 218 yd / 100 g), color: Dove Heather (1) ball.
Tools
- (US Size 7) 4.5 mm needles , I use my circular needle but it's knit flat so you can use straight needles.
- Tapestry needle
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
- Optional locking stitch marker to place marker on the front of your square.

- All measurements are taken before blocking.
Stitch multiple is 7, plus 6.
