The Yarn

I chose Lion Brand Jeans yarn for this free crochet cowl pattern. This yarn is so soft and I love the “jeans” colors.

You can use any #4 medium worsted weight yarn, if you need. to substitute the yarn.

Materials

Notes

  1. Stitch multiple is 6.
  2. Ch 3 counts as a dc, please consider using an alternative to Ch 3, i.e. standing stitch.
  3. The pattern is written with two options: starting chain or foundation double crochets. I highly recommend using the fdc as it provides your fitted items with the stretch they need to fit well.
  4. Cowl is worked bottom up, in the round.
  5. Pattern is a 3 round repeat, with the exception of the first and last rounds.
