Yarn

I use Red Heart With Love in tan and ecru for this beanie pattern. This is a #4 medium worsted weight yarn so you can substitute any comparable yarn.

I can recommend Caron One Pound or Lion Brand Heartland for this pattern. There are many #4 yarns that will works for this one.

Stitch

This is an all double crochet hat pattern. We’ll start with a magic ring and increase for the crown of the hat. Since this beanie is top down, next is the sides for the height of your hat.

For the bear ears you will also use the single crochet for shaping them. The stitches include links to tutorial in the abbreviations section.
