Verna Easy Chunky Ear Warmer Free Crochet Pattern

Sharing is caring!

The Verna is an easy crochet ear warmer pattern. The textured stitch creates cozy winter headbands that are sure to keep everyone’s ears warm in the cold weather! This free crochet pattern includes different sizes for the whole family.

For added warmth I use a wool blend yarn, which is also a #6 superbulky yarn too. That means this little project crochets up quickly.

Cute, quick and useful—the Verna Ear Warmer is a great gift for anyone on your list!

At its heart this is a simple crochet pattern worked as a flat rectangle and then sewn together. Since crocheted headbands can be finished different ways, I add some step by step photos to demonstrate how this one is seamed.
