Notes

  1. Stitch multiple is 6.
  2. Ch 2 does not count as a stitch.
  3. Ch 3 counts as a stitch, I highly recommend using a ch 3 alternative.
  4. For best result check gauge before beginning.
  5. Pattern is written for two sizes, where the smaller size is given first and the next size if given in parenthesis ( ). Where no size is indicated, instructions apply to both.

Gauge

3″/7.75cm x 3″/7.75cm = 10 sts x rnds 1-7 of the wrist ribbing (FPdc + dc)

Men's grey crochet wrist warmers.

Finished Dimensions

Width = 3.5”/9cm (4.25”/11cm

Finished length is 8”/20cm for both sizes so it will fit longer on smaller hands.

Fit

Pattern has negative ease of .5”/1.5cm-1.5”/4cm where finished glove is smaller than hand measurement and stretches to fit.

To fit hand circumferences (measure around the knuckles) of:

  • (S/M) 8”/20.5cm – 8.5”/21.5cm
  • (L/XL) 9”/23.5cm – 9.5”/24cm

Adjustments

Going up or down a size in the pattern is easiest.

To further adjust the width use a stitch multiple of 6. You can do this by adding or subtracting 6 to my starting chain. As this is a large number of stitches to change, you may consider going up or down a hook size instead.

To change the length, adjust the number of rnds you repeat. I recommend adding or subtracting rounds in pairs.
