Construction

This is a top down beanie pattern. You’ll crochet evenly spaced increases to create a flat circle for the crown of the beanie. Then you crochet around and around until the sides of the beanie are tall enough. This beanie has an easy construction with basic crochet stitches, but I’ve also included a video below.

Adjustments

To make a slouchy hat you can crochet more repeat rounds to make your hat 1–3” taller.
