The pattern is labeled as intermediate for the bobble and post stitches used, but mostly it’s a combination of basic stitches. There’s also a video tutorial to help you. All those stitches come together to create beautiful texture in such a small square.

The free pattern is written for 2 contrasting colors to highlight all those interesting stitches. You can choose your two favorite colors to make this square design uniquely yours.

Materials

  • 136 yd, divided, #4 medium worsted weight yarn pictured in Vanna’s Choice (100% acrylic, 170 yd (156 m) per 100 g skein) in shades fisherman (color A) & silver blue (color B): 1 skein each.

Notes

  1. Please read through all notes and pattern before you begin.

  3. Ch 3 counts as a st, I recommend a ch 3 alternative like this one.

Gauge

Please swatch carefully, as incorrect gauge will cause the pattern to come out the wrong size.
