Coastal Sun Crochet Beach Tote Bag a Free Pattern

The Coastal Sun Crochet Beach Tote Bag is a fast and fun project. Create this easy tote bag for everyday use or even for a beach day. Create stripes using your scrap yarn or crochet it in solid colors.

This beginner friendly crochet beach tote bag is worked bottom up, in the round with 100% cotton yarn. Although, acrylic yarn is suitable as well. These bags make great gifts that are beautiful and useful!

As a maker I enjoying gifting my handmade items, I’m sure you can relate. I designed a series of crochet tote bags to gift to my sons’ teachers for end of year gifts.

I made so many that I’m still sharing the patterns with you. If you love crochet totes {and variety} here are the links for the other crochet bags I’ve published so far.

The Coastal Sun Tote makes for a fabulous scrappy project. With different stitches in repeated sections it’s easy to change colors. I love the combination of teal and yellow in this one, with a little bit of the print thrown in at the transitions.
