Crochet Pixie Hat Pattern | Pixie Spice Hat

This crochet pixie hat pattern is just the perfect style for this time of year. Crisp mornings, falling leavings and warm fires bring images of my little ones cavorting outdoors like wood sprites!

Adorn your little ones in a crochet pixie hat in every autumn color- rust, chocolate and butterscotch.

And when your littles tire out of jumping into giant piles of leaves they come inside cheeks flushed, pulling off their mama crocheted pixie hats and warm up with mugs of hot chocolate by the fire.

This fast little pixie hat packs a powerful punch, with rows and rows of crochet texture. Just two contrasting crochet stitches create this beautiful hood.

I love a pattern that I can memorize after the first repeat and keep working on while life goes on around me. These are the patterns I love to create and crochet, because that means I get to crochet that much more.

About the construction

The crochet pixie hat pattern is a crochet rectangle. Then fold it in half and seam it to form the hat.

Next is the edging on the front opening and finally a button and loop at the bottom to keep it secure on your wood sprite’s head.

This pixie hat crochet pattern includes sizes NB-Adult so go ahead and make all the Pixie Spice Hats in all the sizes and all the colors! What are your favorite fall colors?
