  • #6 super bulky weight yarn; pictured in Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick* (80% Acrylic; 20% Wool, 87 yd/80m, 5 oz/140 g); color: Fisherman; 1 ball.


  • 10mm US Size N crochet hook
  • yarn needle
  • scissors
  • measuring tape


  1. Ch 1010 chains in super bulky yarn for ear warmer.
  2. Sc in the 2nd ch from your hook. The turning ch counts as a stitch (marked here by the lime green stitch marker) and you will work into it on the next row.Single crochet in second chain.
  3. Ch 1, sk next ch, sc in next ch.
  4. *{Ch 1, sk next ch, sc in next ch} rep from * across, turn. (10 sts)
  5. Row 2. Ch 1, sk 1st sc, the blue yarn needle marks where to insert your hook for the next stitch. *
  6. {Flo sc in next ch, ch 1, sk next sc}
  7. Rep from * acrossEnding to row 2 ear warmer crochet tutorial.
  8. Sc in flo of turning ch, turn. (10 sts)
  9. If you add the stitch marker to the front loop only on the turning chain, it will be even easier to find.Turning chain marked with red stitch marker.
  10. Row 3. Ch 1, sk 1st sc, *{flo sc in next ch, ch 1, sk next sc} rep from * across, sc in flo of turning ch, turn. (10 sts)Crochet to end of row.End of row 3 complete.
  11. Rep Row 3 to the length of your size below:
  12. 0-3 mos work 20 rows or to 13.5" long.

    baby 3-6 mos work 21 rows or to 14" long.

    Toddler work 26 rows or 17.5" long.

    Child work 29 rows or 19.5" long.

    Tween/Sm Adult work 30 rows or 20" long.
