I’ve had this Red Heart Smoothie cotton yarn in my stash for some time and I finally got around to creating a cute little Valentine heart.
After I crocheted one heart, I knew I wanted to make a second immediately. They’re so fast to work up.
Crocheted from 100% cotton yarn this scrubby can be washed and dried in the hottest of waters.
I would recommend allowing the scrubby to dry completely between uses, and washing it regularly.

To crochet the Heart Pocket Scrubby I held two strands of yarn together. If you’ve never done this before, a small project like this heart is an easy one to try it on.
I worked from both ends of the ball of yarn-one strand coming from the outside and one strand pulled from the inside. This technique works fine for smaller things.
If I were making a large project, I would just use two balls and pull from each. Or cut the yarn and wind two balls to pull from.

The Bria crochet washcloth pattern use this same Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie yarn. It pairs well with the Heart Pocket Crochet Scrubby too.
