Crocheted from 100% cotton yarn this scrubby can be washed and dried in the hottest of waters.

To crochet the Heart Pocket Scrubby I held two strands of yarn together. If you’ve never done this before, a small project like this heart is an easy one to try it on.

I worked from both ends of the ball of yarn-one strand coming from the outside and one strand pulled from the inside. This technique works fine for smaller things.

If I were making a large project, I would just use two balls and pull from each. Or cut the yarn and wind two balls to pull from.

    11. Cut yarn and weave in ends.

Likely, you can work this pattern with only one strand of yarn if you would like to try it. You'll want to use an appropriate hook for your yarn.

Any changes may effect the size of your scrubby. The two strands together makes a really strong scrubby fabric that's great for kitchen use.
