The Aria Summer Crochet Headband works in many so many different colors. I love the solid version, but the combinations are endless. How can you beat such a fast crochet project?
These little headbands are perfect for stash busting all that scrap yarn. The headbands only require about 35-60 yards of yarn. So you can mix and match all those bits and ends for a stunning result.

The Yarn
Cotton yarn is a must for breathable summer headbands. This easy crochet pattern looks amazing in cotton.
I love Lion Brand’s 24/7 cotton.* The color selection is amazing. This teal is my all time favorite. Plus their cotton has a sheen to it that adds such beauty.
The Ecru is a go to for neutral lovers. And while the pink I used was another of their yarns, ZZ Twist. They have some gorgeous pinks in the 24/7 line.

- 35-60 yds of Lion Brand’s 24/7 cotton,* in Ecru-a #4 medium worsted weight yarn

- Ch 3 counts as a stitch, I highly recommend using a ch 3 alternative, like one of these standing stitches.

- I changed colors after Row 2 on the colored headbands, but you can customize your color changes to your liking.

Fit / Adjustment
To adjust the length of your headband the stitch multiple is 6 (6, 12, 18, 24… etc).
If adding or taking away 6 sts is too much change, try adjusting your hook size. The negative ease is 2,” so finished headband will be about 2” smaller and stretch to fit actual head size.
The finished width is 2.5.” To adjust the width, repeat Rnds 2-5, be sure to stop on after a Rnd 5 repeat.
