Adjustments

For a custom size, you need a stitch multiple of 6.
To change the length, adjust the number of times you repeat the 8 row repeat.

To adjust the width of your square, you can add or subtract 6 sts to my cast on. This is helpful if you have trouble meeting gauge.

Hi Crystal I'm totally new to knitting and would like to make a larger project using this pattern. Could you possibly tell me the Cast On "multiple of the number of stitches" plus "number of stitches" I occasionally see in other knitting patterns description. Thank you

Hi Angel, This information is under "Adjustments" above. The stitch multiple is 6 for this pattern. So you can cast on 36, 42, 48... 60, 66, etc. Any number that divides by 6 evenly. I hope that helps. Thanks, Crystal
