How To Icelandic Bind Off
Learn how to finish your knitting with the icelandic bind-off.
Materials
- A project ready for bind off.
Tools
- Your knitting needles.
Instructions
- Insert the right needle into the first stitch purlwise.
- Insert the needle tip into the next stitch knitwise.
- Wrap yarn over the needle,
- Pull it through and knit this second stitch.
- Slide both stitches off the left-hand needle on to the right-hand needle.
- Now slip the stitch back on the left needle and repeat steps 1 - 5 until all stitches are bound off.
- When you get to the last stitch pull up a long loop and cut the yarn.
