Materials

  • A project ready for bind off.

Tools

  • Your knitting needles.

Instructions

  1. Insert the right needle into the first stitch purlwise.Right needle tip ready to slip first stitch.
  2. Insert the needle tip into the next stitch knitwise.
  3. Wrap yarn over the needle, Yarn wrapped on needle for bind off.
  4. Pull it through and knit this second stitch. Pull yarn through to knit the stitch.
  5. Slide both stitches off the left-hand needle on to the right-hand needle. Last stitch on needle for icelandic bind off.
  6. Now slip the stitch back on the left needle Right needle inserted purl wise in knit shawl. and repeat steps 1 - 5 until all stitches are bound off.
  7. When you get to the last stitch pull up a long loop and cut the yarn.Long loop pulled up for the last stitch.
