Sharing is caring!

Crochet a leaf with this free pattern. A simple crochet leaf that can be used to add on to crochet hats, scarves, blankets and more.

This crochet leaf has a longer stem, for dangling off a hat. The stem, and the leaf are easy to adjust by adding more or less chains to start with.

For this leaf there is minimal shaping. You will crochet on both sides of the starting chain.

I include a photo tutorial in the pattern below to help you.

Make them in a variety of colors for fall or spring!

I worked up a pumpkin stem, this leaf pattern and a vine, made from a single crochet curlicue to use with my crochet pumpkin hat pattern.

Keeping the pieces small was important to me. So it adds a touch of cuteness, without getting in the way!
