Stitches and Abbreviations (US Terms)

You can click on any of these links for a step by step tutorial on how to crochet these stitches.

ch(s) – chain(s)

rep – repeat

sc – single crochet

st(s) – stitch(es)

Notes

In this tutorial I use the single crochet, but you can easily crochet this triangle with double crochet too.

The triangle pattern in rows (both of them) includes a row of single crochets between rows of either increases or decrease. This creates a gradual, taller triangle.

To crochet a triangle with sharper angles, skip the regular rows and either increase or decrease every row.
