How To Knit C2F Step By Step Tutorial No Needle
Learn how to cable two front or C2F in this step by step tutorial with pictures and video. Plus, you can knit this cable stitch without using a needle!
This is an easy stitch to work whether you use a needle or not. If you’re using the needle slip the first stitch on the cable needle and hold it at the front. Then you knit the next stitch on your left needle, and then knit the stitch on your cable needle and slide them to your right needle.
A small cable knitting pattern is even easier without a needle, at least in my opinion. Like most knitting techniques there are different methods to achieve the same result!

Instructions
- Knit according to your pattern to the set of stitches you want to c2f.
- Skip the first stitch.
- While holding yarn at the back of work, insert right needle tip in the back leg of the second stitch.
- Wrap yarn over right needle counterclockwise.
- Pull the yarn up through to knit the stitch through the back loop. Keep the stitch on the needle.
- Move the right needle to the front of your work.
- Knit the first stitch on your left-hand needle.
