How To C2B Step By Step Knitting Tutorial No Needle

Sharing is caring!

Learn how to cable two back or C2B in this step by step tutorial with pictures and video. Plus, you can knit this cable stitch without using a needle!

The standard way to work this easy stitch is by placing the first stitch on a cable needle held at the back of your work, then you knit the next stitch on your left needle, and finally knit the stitch on your cable needle moving both to your right needle.

While a small cable knitting pattern like this is some of the easiest cables you can knit actually using a cable needle to do it is a bit too fiddly. So it’s great that you can knit cable stitches without a needle too!

Generally in a cable pattern the front of your work is the right side and where you’ll see the cables. It’s common for these to be worked over a background of reverse stockinette stitch to really make those cables pop.
