Ambra Triangle Scarf One Skein Crochet Pattern

Sharing is caring!

The Ambra Triangle Scarf is a one skein crochet pattern. This lovely and light crochet scarf works up with a combination of the classic granny stitch and the pineapple puff stitch.

The free crochet scarf pattern includes an easy repeat. So it’s simple to create a full size shawl also.

I found this gorgeous yarn last year in Mt. Shasta City while we were on vacation. I was only able to get one ball of it so I knew I wanted to crochet a triangle scarf.

It’s the perfect project to adjust to the exact amount of yarn you have on hand. Since it’s worked top down you can stop or keep going if you have more yarn.

I love the contrast of colors in this self striping yarn. They blended easily and worked out well for color changes.

Other yarns I think would work well for this pattern are Lion Brand’s Shawl in a Ball which is also self striping. Plus it has that brushed effect and comes in a generous 481 yd ball.

For the photo tutorial Ambra Scarf I used some scrap yarn balls. These yarn are made with the same brushed effect as the Trigato and Shawl in a Ball, but only single color. Some of the colors are Bernat Baby Coordinates, so they have plenty of pretty pastels.

Some of them were yarns I was gifted. I believe it’s Red Heart Baby Yarn, but that seems to have been discontinued.
