Incrocio Cowl Crochet Pattern a One Skein Cotton Cowl

Sharing is caring!

Of all the cotton cowls I’ve designed, my favorite is this Incrocio Cowl. I love how this stitch and yarn combo worked out!

Incrocio means crossroad in Italian-since this design creates a bit of an intersection I thought it an appropriate name. This is a lovely lace design that is easy enough for beginners and intriguing enough for all!

I’ve included a detailed photo tutorial for the Incrocio Cowl, plus a video tutorial for the iris stitch used in the design. Lion Brand’s 24/7 cotton is one of my absolute favorite yarns.

I love the color choices and sheen that this yarn has, it’s a dream to work with. The camel color I used in this cowl is also a fave of mine. I already have plans in mind for more designs in this colorway.

Colorblock Cowl features blocks of color which means it’s a great stash buster.

Archwork Mesh Cowl is another lightweight, summer cowl that use one skein of Lion Brand 24/7 yarn.

I love a crochet project that you can whip up quickly and bonus-this only takes one ball of yarn! The hardest part will be choosing which lovely color to go with!

I gifted this cowl to my kindergartner’s teacher aide. It was her last year at his school and she was such an integral part of his first year of “real school.” I’m glad I could take the time to create something lovely for her send off. I hope she enjoys it and her new endeavors, we will miss her.

While I’ve created the Incrocio Cowl for summer, in cotton yarn, any other fiber would be appropriate too. I can’t wait for cooler weather to try it out in wool! But until then I will keep crocheting away in the all the cotton!
