10 Yarn Ball Giveaway!

This month I’m giving away 10 balls of Lion Brand’s Hometown USA yarn! The color is Houston Cream, which also happens to be my hometown ? Be sure to comment below what your hometown is?!

I used just one ball of Hometown USA to crochet the Flurry Pop Beanie in adult size ? I’m kind of in love with how quickly chunky yarn works up. I do have lots of plans for dk weight yarn in the months to come, but until the cold retreats we can delve our hands into the big yarns with glee.

The superbulky weight yarns are great for warm winter hats, cowls, scarves you name it! I really loved working on my knitting skills with this weight yarn since it’s easier to manipulate the yarn and to see each stitch. Do you have a favorite yarn weight? Let me know below ?

  27. I was born in Brooklyn, NY but now I live in Long Island, NY. I do like bulky #5 yarn in the winter too. But my favorite is all round worsted weight yarn #4 because it’s good for almost everything and anything, it’s easy to find and is not too costly.
