186yd/170m (3.5oz/100g) of #4 medium worsted weight cotton, I used less than one ball Lion Brand’s 24/7 cotton in Jade*
5.5mm/I hook, or hook needed to meet gauge. Pictured in Olivewood Alpha Ergonomic hook.*

stitch markers are optional, but helpful for marking which chains to work into at the start and end to the rows.
