June’s Hook & Yarn Giveaway

It’s June here and the weather is warming up (if it’s not already super hot where you are!) and that means lots of cotton yarn and summer crochet projects.

Red Heart’s It’s A Wrap is the perfect solution. It’s a cotton and acrylic blend that is superfine (#1) and comes in a colorful cake.

I chose the color Comedy which is a light green, bright blue and dark pink–all dazzling summer colors! This would make a gorgeous summer wrap to compliment your everyday summer wear or accompany you on pool day.

There are tons of free pattern on the Red Heart site to help you choose your next project. Check out some of the wraps on their site here. I love this asymmetrical wrap-it’s knit so I can’t make it (yet), but it shows off the colorway Comedy. The Delicate Romance Shawl looks amazing! What would you create if you win?

I love adding an ergonomic hook to my giveaways, they’re such a treat for your hands. This month it’s a Soft Touch from Clover in size D/3.25mm, which is a perfect compliment to the super fine yarn.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to crochet with a Clover, you’re missing out! I’m amazed at how smooth the hook glides through my stitches. I always feel like I’m fighting with my yarn a little when I switch to a different hook. And who wants that? The ergonomic grip is so helpful if you enjoy crocheting for hours on end.

Thanks for stopping by the blog, scroll down to enter the giveaway. June’s Giveaway opens at 12 am on 6/13 and ends at 12 am on 6/20. Open to US and Canada only.

  1. Just found your site thru Pinterest; I am so inspired by the fact that you are self taught…you have accomplished so many things…I have romanced crochet for a couple years now…sadly I don’t have any projects to show for all this time but have many skeins of yarn that I attempted to follow patterns with still waiting to be crafted into a finished project. I watched a couple of your tutorials…thank you for thinking of beginners like me…I am so hopeful to try the shawl with tassels that is one of your older posts. God Bless…
